Troubleshooting Issues with your CXi Account Login or Journey Visibility

Overview

As a user of Communicate XI (CXI), you may encounter issues when trying to sign into to the https://app.guidespark.com/ instance, for example: "Need admin approval" error message.

This usually happens when a user was invited to CXi, but not made a site admin for the respective account.

Another situation that this article addresses is when you are able to login after being added as a site admin, however, you are unable to see a journey. This latter situation happens when you are not added to the actual journey in question, or you have been added, but haven't accepted the invite.

Solution

In case you are experiencing the above, please reach out to the current site admins and ask to be added as a site admin or the the journey that you are not seeing.

Once this is done, you should receive another email invite which you should accept, after which you will be able to successfully login to your CXi account.

Note: This process should be followed when the request comes from an Account Manager. If end-users reach out directly, they should be redirected to the current site admins.

  1. Login with the shared user tivian-support@trilogy.com (password in PasswordState)
  2. Find the customer account
  3. Add the shared user as Site admin - if you do not do this, you are unable to add the end-user as site admin
  4. Refresh the page - the shared user should now appear as an approved site admin
  5. You can now add the user freely
